What a Time
Wow, what a time to be living in right now. I never thought in my life time I would be living though a global pandemic. I’ve been socially distancing myself in my Brooklyn, NY apartment for over nine weeks. It hasn’t been so bad. This time has been used to focus on developing new products, naturally dyeing everything in sight, and doing all the things that I seem to never have time for, like making sourdough bread and starting a vegetable garden in my bedroom.
It’s easy to feel like the world is falling apart. Maybe it is a little. Spending energy on the negatives will only make a not great situation feel worse. Practicing gratitude every day, along with a little exercise has been keeping me motivated through this time. What is everyone else finding their silver lining to be?
I have been making lots of masks. Sending masks and supplies to a Navajo Nation in New Mexico, and donating masks to anyone who needs in my immediate Sunset Park, Brooklyn community.
I want to thank everyone for their continued support of small businesses during this wild time.
With so much gratitude,
Arielle
