DRIP DYE AND EMBROIDERY
Adding to our last post about soya milk, madder and iron, we have been continuting to experiment.
Our latest, dipping a madder dyed dress in iron water and hanging to dry, letting the iron slowly creep down the fibers of the fabric. This left a sutbly colored, almost cartoonish like gray drip pattern on the dress.
Of course, we had to add a bit of embroidery. This dress, being reversible, can be worn with the v neck or the scoop neck. We added a bit of stitching to the v neck side, but is not to bold to be worn down the back of the dress.
